Temple of Khronos’ brand of black metal is hard to pin down, but I will say that the album’s faster and more aggressive moments remind me of the relentless power of Suspiral, the slower and more introspective moments call to mind the ominous power of Vous Autres, and the vocals...well, combine the avant-garde vocalists from Arcturus and A Forest of Stars and add some traditional black and death metal elements, and you might have an idea of what to expect. Spire really deliver here!
